This project involved the complete demolition of an existing two-story brick and tile house to make way for a brand-new, purpose-built investment property. The goal was to create a modern, high-quality home that would maximise the block’s potential and appeal to the property market.

- The primary challenge was managing the sloping block to achieve a split-level design that not only created street appeal but also fully capitalised on the stunning water views. The client also requested several high-end features to elevate the property's value and longevity, including recessed door tracks to sit flush with the floor, a custom-installed outdoor rangehood, and durable hardwood decking on the lower level, along with a fully waterproof tiled deck on the upper level.
- Result / Outcome:
- I delivered a contemporary two-story home with a spacious and functional layout. The split-level design successfully navigated the block's topography, resulting in a striking facade and a beautifully tiered backyard. The strategic placement of large windows and sliding doors on both levels ensures that the home's living spaces and bedrooms are flooded with natural light and take full advantage of the water views. The inclusion of high-quality finishes, such as the hardwood and tiled decks, and the recessed door tracks, demonstrates my commitment to craftsmanship, providing a premium, low-maintenance investment property that will deliver a strong return for my client.
