A solid family home, standing the test of time

Terrigal builder portfolio – 3 Storey home

This three-story, brick home features a traditional design with a functional layout. The ground floor includes a large, three-door garage with a secure, roller-door entry.

An external staircase with a metal railing leads to the main entrance on the second level. The second floor also has a veranda with a matching metal railing that wraps around the side of the house, offering additional outdoor living space. Two sets of sliding glass doors on this level provide access and natural light.

The third story has multiple windows on the front and side, and a balcony with a peaked roof, which adds to the home’s classic aesthetic. The tiled, gabled roof provides a clean finish to the overall structure.

Client Goals:
A solid, luxury brick home with gabled, multi-faceted rooflines. The design featured a prominent veranda and an upper-level balcony with metal railings, which provides outdoor living space and helps to break up the large facade.
Challenges:
The three-story, stepped design was used because it was being built on a sloping site, allowing for a large house while conforming to the natural terrain.
Result / Outcome:
The result was a family home in Terrigal that is still in good condition and being enjoyed by the family many years later.
